 S-based ARK Jammers Connection - a mission-driven organization dedicated to spreading kindness and promoting intercultural dialogue through the unifying power of music - will be touring some areas of Cameroon.  A delegation of 54 African Americans, most Cameroon Americans (over 40), whose ancestry was traced back to Cameroon with the support of the American DNA company, African Ancestry, will received a gesture of kindness as they will be taken to Douala-Bimbia-Foumban-Bafoussam-Bandjoun-Bafia-Yaounde-Kribi-Douala beginning December 27, 2010 to January 5, 2011.

Nigeria: Wikileaks - U.S. Had Intelligence on Boko Haram Attack

New York — One of the United States diplomatic cables released by internet whistle-blower, WikiLeaks, has revealed that US had intelligence on last year's attack by the Boko Haram sect in some parts of North-east Nigeria before the attack was launched.
The cable dated June 29, 2009, which originated from the Secretary of State, with reference no 09STATE67105 and classified secret/noforn, was tagged, "Nigeria-Extremists believed to be planning a massive terrorist attack".

Nigeria: Halliburton - U.S. Unlikely to Release Cheney for Trial

Washington DC — It may not be possible to bring former American Vice President Dick Cheney to court in Nigeria for his alleged role in the Halliburton bribery scandal.

He is holed up in his posh St. Michael's mansion in Maryland, United States.
Besides, President Barack Obama is unlikely to hand him over, according to administration officials.

St. Michael's is a get-away fishing town for millionaires and former government officials.
Cheney is not only respected by the Republican leaning community, he is protected round the clock by the Secret Service.

His personal security detail has been beefed up since Abuja announced plans to try him for the alleged bribery.

Nigeria: John Togo Writes Obama On Bloodbath in Ayakoromor

Asaba — The Niger Delta Liberation Force, NDLF, headed by wanted, "General" John Togo, Friday, wrote to President Barrack Obama of the United States, alleging massacre of innocent and defenseless civilians in Ayakoromor community in Delta State by the Joint Task Force, JTF, on the Niger-Delta, and urged him to prevail on President Goodluck Jonathan to call the task force to order.

Abuja/Lagos — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) disclosed on Thursday that it is preparing charges against former Unites States Vice president, Dick Cheney, in connection with the $180 million bribery scandal allegedly involving Halliburton.

Abuja — Wikileaks, an international non-profit media organisation, has revealed the United States of America's role in the June 12, 1993, election that was annulled by the military. The report, which recently released over 251,000 US embassy cables giving accounts of the US State Department's correspondence with its missions abroad, said that significant investments were made to midwife democracy in Nigeria in 1993.

The documents revealed the US role in the 1993 general elections and the June 12 impasse.
The documents further revealed that most of the non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that were in the fore front for the actualisation of the June 12 election were sponsored by the US embassy in Lagos to mobilize Nigerians against the military junta.

London and Abuja — Commonwealth officials were in June 2009 anticipating that a "constitutional crisis" would befall Nigeria because of President Umaru Yar'adua's "sudden death", according to secret US diplomatic cables posted by whistle blower Wikileaks yesterday.

The website released 251,287 documents detailing what it calls US 'spying' activities around the world.

One of the correspondences from the US embassy in London dated June 11, 2009, eleven months before Yar'adua died, quoted a Commonwealth official as saying that the group was "keeping a watchful eye on Nigeria because of the constitutional crisis that could ensue if President Yar'adua dies."
